Her voice was sweet, soft, and soothing, and she read to us with enthusiasm. I began to fall in love with books and the adventures and characters I met within their pages. It's because of a school librarian that I dare to dream and write books of my own.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11677955331684698979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8220408259844062715.post-17041579172941169252014-04-08T14:10:47.649-05:002014-04-08T14:10:47.649-05:00Rebecca, I agree - the bookmobile seemed magical w...Rebecca, I agree - the bookmobile seemed magical when it came around! I loved visiting, even though the selection wasn't near what I could find in the actual library! And Lynn, I have some of our Little Golden Books still. I got them from my grandmother and I'm keeping them for my (someday) grandchildren!HiDeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13396690868746368030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8220408259844062715.post-26810538991796645812014-04-08T10:59:16.089-05:002014-04-08T10:59:16.089-05:00Nice post! Later, one of my favorite books was something about a girl and a wolf, can't remember the title. One of my favorite places used to be the library. That was way before Starbucks.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04995410883984004330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8220408259844062715.post-68173048755414058502014-04-08T10:58:58.543-05:002014-04-08T10:58:58.543-05:00Wonderful post!

When I was little I thought that would be the best job ever. Instead I work in a tech services unit in a library. Not nearly as fun as driving the bookmobile around:)

Rebeccamorserenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00004107230152134696noreply@blogger.com
